Economic efficiency

Taking into consideration long service life of polymer composite railway sleepers plus frequent replacement cycles for wooden sleepers, economic feasibility of using polymer sleepers is obvious.

In the long-run period, initial investments in new product will pay off right after the second wooden analogue replacement cycle (which equals to the term ranging from 5 to 8 years). In addition, since every replacement involves expendable materials, dismantling costs, use of labour resources, etc. there is consistent saving of money for repairs observed.

Products advantages

Installation and maintenance:

Installation and placement of polymer composite railway sleepers is done using the same standard mountings that are usually used for wooden railway sleepers: bolts, anchors and screw-dowels. There can be used instruments and technical equipment, which are usually used in such situations. Railway track can be repaired separately without involvement of the adjacent sections of the track.

Polymer composite sleeper can be used for any type of rails welding without making any defects and without sacrificing any physical and mechanical properties.

Service life is only limited with a necessity of railway track overhaul for a reason of the overall improvement of the upper structure of the track.
